Plato's Fine Fabric


intricate and connected
wrapped, swaddled
like the baby jesus
hold, held, beholden
the soul's connection strong and true.

A reaching,
longing cherished
woven into something that cares,
supports and washes, over and through

Like a fine fabric,
adornment and containment of focus in caring for our souls.
